Welcome to Kirkwood In BLOOM

Kirkwood in BLOOM is a citizen inspired and managed initiative to enhance public landscapes in Kirkwood. This community enhancement effort enjoys the support of community leaders as well as Kirkwood business organizations and a variety of community service groups.

Plans include:

  • adding colorful landscape displays to entrances of the community and in areas where people gather
  • replacing and enhancing landscape plantings along city streets and public properties
  • urban-scale street planters, landscape islands and hanging planters along street corridors in the Kirkwood Junction Special Business District
  • creating "recipes for success" for privately owned commercial and residential landscapes to follow
