The Kirkwood'S 2007 Community Spirit Book

Kirkwood's 2007 entry in the America in Bloom national community enhancement competition has created "Kirkwood's 2007 Community Spirit Book", a beautiful and unique book about Kirkwood, MO - yesterday, today and looking into the future. The book includes over 100 pages of photographs supported by summarized narratives describing Kirkwood's amenities associated with all 8 America in Bloom criteria categories.

In addition to the information and images contained in the original book submitted to the judges during their June 2007 visit to Kirkwood, the final version will include:

• A detailed itinerary of the judges' two day tour of Kirkwood including additional full color photographs of their site visits


• A complete, unedited copy of the judges' detailed 20 page Kirkwood evaluation report


• A tribute and dedication of the America in Bloom Community Involvement Award to Kirkwood's fallen volunteer extraordinaire, Mr. Skip Barthelmass,


• A final chapter illustrating Kirkwood's representation at the America in Bloom Symposium and Awards Ceremony and receipt of the 2007 America in Bloom Community Involvement Award
